5 ways you can celebrate Valentine’s if you’re single!

Single? Not a problem!

The one mistake many of us make is that thinking Valentine’s is only for people in romantic relationships.

Well, technically it is, but we don’t necessarily have to adhere to the rules, do we?

If you’re single as a pringle and you’re not ready to mingle (with strangers), we’ve got some solutions for you!

1. SPEND TIME WITH YOUR PARENTS!

As we get older, all the other attention we get often overshadows our parents. But when we look back for a second, we don’t usually give them the attention they give us.

So why not spend some time with them and do the things they like… and just pay attention to them? Trust us, they’ll be talking about it all year!

2. BRING YOUR SIBLINGS OUT!

Siblings and the love-hate relationship we share with them… re-live it!

Go on a road-trip, get into fights, reconcile by dinner, treat each other, cry on their shoulder, and rant about why you can’t find THE ONE. Just make the most out of the day because you might not always get to spend time together.

3. QUALITY TIME WITH COUSINS!

So what do you do when you have no siblings? Worry not! Your cousins are the next best people after siblings.

Have some late night chats like those good old days at your granny’s, and you’ll somehow come up with something interesting or silly to do.

4. WHAT'S LIFE WITHOUT FRIENDS?

No matter how much of an introvert you are, you’d definitely have at least ONE best friend, or a few very close friends.

You might want to cherish them on this day! Tell them how much they mean to you. Let them feel appreciated. Sometimes, happiness doesn’t cost a lot of money.

5. TREAT YOURSELF!

YES, you deserve the love you give the world. Have a hearty meal. Binge watch your favourite series. Buy new clothes. Think of the times you’ve made yourself proud. You deserve this, because… self love above all, mate!

Spread the joy and love that you have to the people who deserve it! What else do you have planned for Valentine’s? Share them with us!
