It’s true what people say, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going!
The pandemic has surely taught us many lessons. For this young boy, it has taught him to persevere. A 9 year-old Indonesian boy in Thailand started running a crepe stall to lessen his family’s financial burden.

Weir, the young boy said that they’ve been struggling financially and in order to contribute a little to his parents, he decided to sell crepe. He managed to persuade his parents who have their own food stall to buy him a stove and some ingredients so he could get started on his new venture.
Weir learnt how to make crepes from social media platforms like YouTube.
Running the stall on weekends and after school, he sells both savoury and sweet crepe for 10baht (RM 1.35).

We admire this young boy’s determination and sense of responsibility. To those going against the odds, keep going!
