We have a good number of online retail platforms nowadays where we can buy anything and everything with just a click on our phones. Brand new, pre-loved, clearance, you name it and you’ll find it. But this item is pretty unique on an online marketplace.

To those who have trust issues and always need a second opinion on things, you can perhaps check this guy out.

Samuel Xie is offering a consultation service where you can get in touch with him to ask a question on any topic and he’ll answer it for $5.

The 38 year-old salesman said that he’d listed his service on the platform over a year ago when he was resting at home but only recently got the attention of many, after a Facebook user shared a screen-capture of his service. He has been receiving some enquiries but nothing too serious, yet.

LOL I didn’t know you can sell this kind of service on carousell before. Clever

Samuel also does freelance research jobs and teaches music. According to him, he thought selling his opinion would be a good idea as he’d be unbiased and he feels that people would be comfortable speaking to him as he is a good secret keeper.

His friends usually approach him for life decisions and we think that’s what probably boosted his confidence. He also added that the fee is just to get people to take his service seriously.

Well, we guess you can find him if you need a third person’s point of view… who’s not your ‘kepoh’ relatives or judgmental friends, right?

This is interesting, though. If you could sell any of your talents online, what would you sell?
