Listen up.
There's a first edition of JK’s Rowling’s Harry Potter books- a rare hardback copy of ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’. It’s rare because there were only 500 copies printed, way back in 1997!
Now go and search your bookshelf. Do you see the book anywhere? If you do, this is your stroke of luck!

A teacher in Buckinghamshire, discovered the book in a skip in 2008 and had stored it in her loft.
With four other books from the series, which she also found in the skip went on auction at an estimated price of £8,000 to £12,000. Due to the lockdown, the auction took place online and guess what? The price kept going up and up and up until… it stopped at £33,000!

The anonymous seller said that she’s very pleased, and that’s an understatement!
Are you a Potterhead? You might want to buy or sell this book!
