It’s true what people say, love knows no fear.
Josh Collins was recently dubbed ‘Britain’s best dad’ for being ready to skydive to raise money for his terminally ill stepson, despite being afraid of heights.
Josh, who works as a barber, and his partner, Laura have been unable to get funding for an electric all-terrain wheelchair that their son, Zach needs due to the pandemic.
Now that he’s completely bed-bound, Josh took things into his own hands and is planning to find a solution for it.

Poor Zach was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare genetic disorder with a 100 percent fatality rate at just five years old. This makes long walks a struggle for the 8 year-old.
After Laura gave birth to a baby girl earlier this year, pushing Zach in a manual wheelchair and handling their baby has made travelling and family time more challenging. Hence, this electric wheelchair will make life and travelling around a lot easier for the family.
The 28 year-old mom shared how they fell in love after knowing each other since their teenage years. After Zach was diagnosed, the two became a couple and now the little boy sees Josh as his own dad. Zach gets his haircut from Josh and the two of them have bonded really well.

Josh said that heights give him a ‘vertigo thing’ but he’d do it anytime for his stepson to get a comfortable wheelchair.
“At the end of the day, it’s just going to be a bad time for 20 minutes or so…” he said. Awwww!
We really hope Josh’s efforts pay off and that they get to go on adventures again soon!
