You’re either a fan, or you would have at least heard their hits like “Creep” and “Karma Police”, the British rock band is known for publishing their tunes the unconventional way.
The band previously self-released their seventh studio album “In Rainbows” in 2007 as a pay-what-you-want download, and it looks like they weren’t stopping there.
On their official Facebook post, Radiohead stated that they “got hacked last week” and that the frontman Thom Yorke’s minidisk archive packed with demos and songs from the ‘OK Computer’ era had been stolen by the hackers and that they demanded $150,000 (RM624,690) on threat of releasing it.

“So instead of complaining - much - or ignoring it, we’re releasing all 18 hours on Bandcamp in aid of Extinction Rebellion,” they continued.

The band also noted that for 18 days (now until the 29th June) 18 HOURS of musical content can be bought in full for £18 (About RM95), and all the proceeds will be given to Extinction Rebellion, a socio-political movement which uses non-violent resistance.
“So for £18 you can find out if we should have paid that ransom.”
