Warner Bros has confirmed that Aquaman 2 will be happening, and will be produced by directors James Wan and Peter Safran.
They also managed to get David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who co-wrote the script with Will Beall for the first movie onboard too.
It’s only been about two months since Aquaman was released, but it has already raked in millions worldwide and is currently the 21sthighest worldwide grossing movie of all time!

The movie stars Jason Momoa as the title character, with Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul- Mateen II, and Nicole Kidman in supporting roles.
David began working on the script three years ago after reading Aquaman comic books while on the set of Conjuring 2.
And a quick did-you-know fact:
Warner Bros also announced recently, that it is developing The Trench as a spinoff horror movie to Aquaman! It’s said to be the lower-cost version of the first movie, without the main cast involved. Sweet!
