Being kind really doesn’t take much effort but in times like this, where panic over COVID-19 and the movement control order sets in, selfish acts are bound to happen.
But this story will melt your hearts and remind you that, kindness and mindfulness is really more important during this time.
A lady in Sydney, Australia shared how her heart broke seeing an elderly man staring at empty shelves of bread while grocery shopping. He carried an empty trolley, to which Helena, who happens to be a DJ, gave one of the two hotdog buns she had in her own trolley.

This incident likely happened due to panic buying at supermarkets, and it really shouldn’t be this way. We all need to take a deep breath and calm down during this hard time.
Please be kind to one another and think of the other person when you take what you need for yourself. Do not panic-buy as there is always enough food for everyone.
Please make sure you stay indoors for now, but if you happen to be out, do look out for the ones that really need your help and compassion. After all, we’re all in this together.
The movement control order is being implemented today, until the 31st of March 2020 in Malaysia. We hope Malaysians stay strong and calm through the 2 weeks!
