Children outgrow things pretty quickly and what do you do when they no longer want to play with their once favourite Barbie or teddy bear anymore?

This couple had a solution in mind. They created an app, which was piloted in London that lets parents pick up children’s toys and products for free!

Jason and Emma were inspired by a seller they met at a yard sale. When one of their sons fell in love with a fire truck at the sale, the seller gave it away for free saying that he was happy to see someone get so much joy from something that had been gathering dust.

Determined to prevent such things from ending up in landfill, they created the app and it’s been working pretty fine!

Parents can basically list or request a range of items and it’s great because it’s free as well.

With the pandemic we’ve been hit with this year, we think it’s a good idea to save on items like these.

What do you think of this initiative? What do you do with the toys your children no longer want?
