People say ‘believe you can do it and you’re halfway there’, but how many of us actually try and do the other half of the work?

David Blaine, the magician and illusionist actually did it! Recently, he flew up in the air with a bunch of balloons and while we’re impressed, the internet is not so. They’ve already seen this sort of act in animation movies, we guess.

He floated over the Arizona desert by holding on to about 50 helium balloons.

He explained how every single stunt he’s done is about endurance and pushing past what he thinks is possible before he performed the stunt. His ‘Ascension’ was streamed live on YouTube.

He ended up floating way past his goal, at about 24,900 feet before skydiving and parachuting back to the ground.

Here’s what Twitter thinks.

Were you impressed?
