Remember when Ryan Reynolds was first casted for the role of Wade Wilson aka Deadpool (the 2016 movie) and everyone was like, “He can’t be both Deadpool AND the Green Lantern!”? Well, we admit, it does ruin the immersion a little bit knowing that the same person is both in the Marvel and DC Universe.

But, fast forward two years later and we’re so glad that Reynolds got the role. Not just because of how well he plays the cheeky foul-mouthed character, but also because he’s just as cheeky in real life as evidenced by how he likes to troll his wife, Blake Lively.
Well, the man is at it again. This time, it’s in the form of a tweet in response to David Leitch’s announcement that he’ll be directing the Fast and Furious spin-off featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham titled Hobbs and Shaw. Yup, this is happening, guys.
In the tweet, Reynolds said that Leitch promised that Deadpool would be in the spin-off playing a “no-nonsense police chief who yells at Hobbs for crashing his 58 valve Nissan Sentra into an Olive Garden”.
For those who don’t know, Leitch also directed Deadpool 2, which will be hitting our cinemas on the 17th of May 2018.
We’re not sure if Deadpool would fit in in a Fast and Furious movie, but it’ll definitely be fun to watch if this really happens. Make it happen, David Leitch! This man cracks us up!
