Dear Diary,
10pm, Sunday
Can’t believe it has been 5 years since the little one was born. Obviously, sleep has been steadily declining, and schedules have become more hectic, but motherhood has truly been a blessing.
Despite developing an intolerance to lactose, we’re in the pink of health, which is all that matters. Also, trying out a lactose- and gluten-free plant-based milk formula with no added preservatives, colourings, and preservatives, and the verdict so far; better than dairy milk.
Going to bed now to re-energise for tomorrow. Will keep you posted on going-ons of the day…

It’s a bit too early for the rooster to crow, isn’t it? Oh, never mind, it’s the little one crying. Time to get up to chase away imaginary monsters under the bed. Maybe go back to sleep after, just maybe.

Breakfast time. Off to the kitchen to whip up some breakfast for the little one. Also, gonna play the mum card and fuss over the little one’s health.
On the menu today is cereal with a serving of that plant-based milk formulated with essential omega-3 fatty acids, oat beta-glucan, and prebiotic oligosaccharide. Big words, I know, but these will help with brain and eye development, boosting of the immune system, and supporting the growth of intestinal flora.
Nutrition covered. Done fussing.

Stuck in traffic on the way to drop off the little one at daycare. Heading to work, more traffic jam, urgh! All this stress is likely to cause fatigue and aging, must remember to calm down and breathe.

Meetings, meetings, and more meetings. Stressed out but looking forward to winding down over a heart-warming cup of milk. Who knew you could make milk out of organic oats and 10 other types of natural unrefined grains, beans, and nuts?
Good thing it’s easy to prepare too because it’s time to get back to work and do it all over again. C’mon time, move quicker!

Phew, it’s been a long day, all that’s left to do is to get stuck in traffic on the way to pick-up the little one from daycare, get stuck in traffic on the way home, and prepare dinner. Cry.
Surprisingly, not feeling very tired despite a hectic day. That milk from lunch was a great source of iron and folic acid that helps improve blood circulation and reduce fatigue.
Been thinking about nutrition a lot, must be a mum thing.

Put the little one to bed and finished-up all remaining chores. Time to chill and fix myself another cup of that plant-based milk for a dose of antioxidants to combat free radicals and delay aging, and fibre and prebiotic inulin to promote the growth of good bacteria in the gut.

Time for bed! See you again at 3.47am to chase away monsters under the bed. Tata!
Reminder to self: Running low on that delicious plant-based milk, remember to run to the store to pick-up more Biogreen Pink Lady and O’Kid tomorrow.
