Although parents always keep an eye on their children, the unexpected can still happen, given their curious and restless ways.

A recent video of a delivery driver catching a 2-year-old girl who fell from the 12th floor balcony has been making rounds and it was heart-stopping to say the least.

Nguyen Ngoc Manh, the driver, said that he was sitting in the car while waiting to deliver something for a customer in the opposite building. He then heard a child crying and to his shock, he saw the little girl clinging on to the balcony with one hand.

The 31 year-old immediately jumped out of the car and tried to climb the nearby building. He mounted on a two-metre high tile roof to catch the girl and he managed to throw himself forward and get the girl. The toddler fell from 164 feet, perfectly in his arms.

Netizens are praising the delivery driver for his quick thinking. He said that he didn’t think much about it, and that being a father himself, the toddler reminded him of his daughter at home.

We’re so glad everyone’s safe. Dear parents, please don’t leave your children unattended. Also, you might want to put a child-lock to the balcony door.
