This story is too cute.

Sometimes, our piggy banks really come to our rescue but to know that we still fall short is heartbreaking.

This young boy was craving for a pizza and when the delivery rider delivered it, he paid using a bag of coins.  Twitter user @idealuzair shared this story and we can’t stop smiling.

So here’s how it goes. Faiz, the delivery rider received an order for a pizza that’s RM28.50 but the coins given to him only totalled up to RM 18.

Since he was rushing, he left without counting the money.

Upon realising it was short of RM15, the rider contacted the little boy and “threatened” to report the matter to the police. The poor boy pleaded with him not to do so and asked him to come back so that he could pay off the remaining amount. He also said that his dad didn’t know about it.

It then turned out that the boy was really craving for a pizza and made an order using his father’s phone, but was scared that his father would be angry. Feeling sorry, the delivery rider paid the remaining amount off and asked the boy to order if there’s anything else he’d like to eat. However, the boy declined it very politely. He also kindly reminded the boy to not cheat in the future.

Faiz said he hopes to be shown kindness in turn from someone else in the future, by doing the good deed.

The screenshot of conversation on Twitter has been going viral and people are finding how the boy apologised and how he excused himself from it all really hilarious.

We hope the boy learned his lesson and we’re glad it didn’t turn out to be a traumatic event that would give him anxiety to make orders in the future!

Would you have spoken to his father if you were in the delivery rider’s place?
