It’s the first day of CMCO in peninsular Malaysia (except Pahang, Perlis and Kelantan). Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced this over the weekend, in an attempt to curb the spread of COVID-19.

*Here’s the list of SOPs in case you missed it.

While Malaysians can’t wait to go out and have some form of a social life again, some of them are taking it one at a time, with a light heart.

This Twitter user’s tweet explains what PKPB (Malay for CMCO) actually stands for and netizens join him for a good laugh.

PKPKPKP - Hmm, that’s an accurate abbreviation. Here’s how others responded.

It’s true what people say, creativity does crop up when boredom strikes.

There are also a number of tweets ‘borrowing’ the fame to promote their business products.

The latest CMCO has been extended until December 6, 2020 and we really hope the number of cases will go down by then! So, guys.. Please stay home and take necessary precautions if you have to head out. If you’re bored, go online to entertain or be entertained!

We have quite an interesting platform for you to read, watch videos, listen to podcasts and music and even participate in contests! Download the SYOK app now via the Apple Appstore or Google Playstore! - http://onelink.to/syok
