A football fan lost her job after being caught on TV celebrating England’s equalising goal against Denmark at the Euros… because she was supposed to be sick at home.

Nina Farooqi was seen screaming and jumping while celebrating Simon Kjaer’s own goal, with her friend. And unfortunately for her, the television cameras zoomed in on her.
Despite the bad luck, the Digital Content Producer said that she would do it all over again.

Nina’s friend had won the tickets to the semi-final and since “football is her life”, Nina couldn’t say no. She also knew that she wasn’t going to get a day off if she had been honest, considering the fact that her workplace was understaffed.
After the incident, she was told not to bother showing up to work. Aww man!
The 37 year-old probably had the worst day as an employee, but we guess her joy of being a spectator at the Euros outweighed it? What do you think?
