Dua Lipa won the Best New Artist at the 61st Grammys earlier today, but did you know that’s not the only award that she took home?
She also won the Best Dance Recording award for “Electricity” prior to her Best New Artist win, and her reaction was PRICELESS!
It was announced during the pre-show, which means she came to know about it while she was getting ready for the red carpet!
"Crazy, honestly. I keep trying to look after my makeup but it's watering on the side. I'm so emotional, and so excited, and so thankful. I really have no words to explain how I feel."
The singer received her award for the latter from last year’s winner, Alessia Cara and long-ago winner Bob Newhart and she was so overwhelmed by the situation that she forgot to take her award from Bob!
"Oh my goodness. Thank you so much. I don't even know where to begin," she started. "I guess where I want to begin is to say how honored I am to be nominated alongside so many incredible female artists this year because I guess this year we've really stepped up."
