But don’t go against the law for it lah… Five men were recently arrested for allegedly trying to swim into Singapore!

The men, aged between 21 and 38 were caught early in the morning on June 24th and have been referred to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority for further investigations.
A video released by police showed the five men approaching the shore, making their way into the Lube Park Jetty area. It was reported that the unlawful entry must have been attempted via Tuas.
Commander Police Coast Guard, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Chean Keng Keong mentioned that firm action would be taken against such offenders.
Previously on June 17th, an Indonesian man allegedly entered Singapore’s waters without valid documentation, and he had tested positive for COVID-19.
Sources revealed that the same man was one of these five men who were arrested for unlawful entry.
It may sound like a lot of effort and planning, but this is no laughing matter, guys! Please stay safe and abide by the rules.
