You know what’s the scariest part of having a new year’s resolutions? Yup, you got it right; executing them! So… New Year’s fever has gone down a little but how about your spirit? How are your resolutions going? Take a closer look. Do you feel this way about yourself or your resolutions?

If your answer is yes, here’s a list of some really simple things you can do to keep going with your resolutions! Leggo!

1. IMAGINE
Imagine yourself achieving the things you want to achieve. But don’t just stop there. Imagining things can really help you to focus on what’s important to you, so you would probably start doing them right away to make your imagination a reality! Imagination is power, mate!

2. WRITE ‘EM DOWN
Get yourself a journal, and every day before you go to bed, write down the things you’ve done to get closer to achieving your targets. That could make you want to do something at least, because you know; no one wants to see a journal that looks like this (see gif below), everyday.

3. TELL YOUR FRIENDS
This always works! Share your resolutions with as many friends as possible because you know they’re going to bring you on a guilt trip every time you fail to execute your plans. I mean, what are friends for?

Nope, they won’t until you do the things you said you’d do. And that’s exactly why we need them.
4. SELF CONTROL
Set goals for yourself, perhaps on a weekly basis and remind yourself that when you don’t get them done, you don’t get to have fun! You know, maybe you would have some Saturday night out plans and you can’t attend that unless you finish this (your resolution) first. So that way, you’d make things happen because who wouldn’t want to have fun! Time to learn some self-control, or maybe it’s time to add meditation in to your resolution list!

5. DON’T STRESS ABOUT IT
Well, if none of the above works, don’t stress about it. There’s always next year!

So what are your resolutions for 2019?
