As we know, former Barcelona striker Lionel Messi announced that he was leaving his long-time club last week.
While it was an emotional goodbye for him and his fans, an anonymous person has turned the sadness into an opportunity to be a millionaire.
During the farewell conference, Messi’s wife, Antonella handed him a tissue to wipe his tears as he was too emotional. Little did we know that it would be worth US$1 million (RM4.24 million)!

Someone actually picked up the used tissue and released an advertisement on websites, selling it for the price mentioned!
The anonymous seller also reasoned that the tissue was expensive because it contains the 34 year-old’s “genetic material”, which can assist one to become a star just like him. Umm…
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure indeed. We’d really like to know if there is a buyer!
