Frustrated Man Calls Cops Because Claw Machine Wasn’t Letting Him Win

We totally feel you!

What’s your life goal? We’d like to know because writing this story made us realise that no goal is ever really silly, if you want it badly enough.

This man’s goal (at least on that day) was to win a prize on the claw machine game. You know the machine that slowly sucks our money without us realizing? Yeah, that one.

A man in Japan was so frustrated that he called the cops after losing the game 50 times in a row and honestly, we feel for him. We’d be frustrated after several times, so imagine trying it 50 times in a row!

Thinking it was a scam, he called the cops and later got a staff member to prove that it wasn’t a rigged machine. The staff member had to play it in front of the two cops and the man but to no avail. The employee himself also failed to grab a prize!

He tweeted about the unfortunate incident and it’s been going viral. He also explained that he visited the arcade in Tokyo in hopes of catching a prize but 50 failed attempts told him something was just not right.

After 200 failed attempts, the staff decided to adjust the position of the prize and guess what? He was able to grab it then! If only they had done it way, way earlier…

We’ve really got to give it to them, though, for having that much patience.

The police did not take any action since a spokesperson clarified that the crane games depend solely on a customer’s luck and ability to win. We guess it just wasn’t his day that day.

We’ve seen people shaking and hitting the machine in frustration, but to call the cops for a prize is next level. We hope he wins it some day!

Have you faced a similar experience? How many times did you try before you gave up?
