It’s hard to imagine ourselves being in a position where we don’t know what to do when faced with a sudden tragic incident; like the stars at this year's Grammys. Torn between going on with their planned performance and enjoying the night and mourning the sudden loss of a fellow star; the celebrities on stage still managed to do both, with so much compassion.

In case you missed the Grammys 2020 last weekend, here’s all the Kobe Bryant moments compiled for you.

Lizzo declared loud and clear “tonight is for Kobe” before she sang “Cuz I Love You” because really, we all loved him.

Alicia Keys opened the ceremony at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles by addressing the tragic news.

Not only Kobe, but also in remembrance of the other victims of the Calabasas’ helicopter crash, Keys who was later joined by Boyz II Men for the R&B classic “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye to Yesterday”.

It was so heart-warming to see Kobe’s jersey appearing during performances throughout the night including during Aerosmith and Run DMC's “Living on The Edge” and Lil Nas X’s remix of “Old Town Road”.

Kobe was also mentioned during the performance tribute to Nipsey Hussle, who was shot and killed outside his clothing store last year.

A moment of silence was held for the NBA star during the show’s pre-telecast ceremony.

John Legend, on a different note, reminded all of us how we all should always love and hold each other tight, because tomorrow is never promised.

Here’s all the highlights for you:

Here’s what Billy Ray Cyrus, Lil Nas X and Demi Lovato shared on their social media.

The night had to go on but we're sure a lot of us found solace in knowing that the show included all of the tributes that Kobe definitely deserved.

You'll be missed, Kobe. Our thoughts and love go out to all the people and the families of those who perished in the incident.
