Having A Sister Apparently Makes You A Better Person?

If you have a sister and if they live with you, go and get them right now and read this together so you can both judge how true this is for yourselves…

A report from Huffington Post recently said that sisters naturally teach compassion, empathy and help brush up your interpersonal skills.

In simple words, sisters provide ‘emotional support’ and help you learn about how girls think (in general). Research also found that guys who grew up with sisters were better at communicating with women than those who grew up with brothers.

So if you were trying to impress a girl and she was actually impressed, you probably indirectly learnt that skill from your sister.

According to a journal published in the Journal of Family Psychology, it also mentioned that sisters can boost our mental health and self-esteem…though some camps may feel the opposite...

Sources said that this is because of “emotional expression”. Women are in general more expressive and open up more easily during conversations. Of course, times are changing and so are people, so if you think you or your sister don’t fit this criteria but are still best friends, you do you!

What are your thoughts on this?
