When you get a chance to be your own hero, you’ve definitely got to grab it! Hasrul Wahab, now a father of three, delivered his third child on the spot, on the go, and on the road.
He shared in a Facebook post that his wife went into labour while they were on their way to the hospital. Leaving their two kids with his parents, the man brought his wife to the hospital, believing there’s no traffic since the navigating app said so.
However, things took a turn for the worst when they were met with bumper-to-bumper traffic at the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas).

Not knowing what to do, the blur father pulled over and told the JPJ officers (who apparently had a roadblock going on at the time) what was going on.
But it was already too late as his wife was already giving birth. Hence, Hasrul had to come to the rescue!

“…it took less than two minutes, faster than cooking a packet of instant noodles” he said.
The officers then escorted the couple and the ‘VVIP’ baby to the hospital as the ambulance took awhile to arrive. Hasrul was grateful for the assistance and was amused that his baby got a ‘VVIP’ welcome!
Well, it would be so cool if the baby is named after one of these three things; instant noodles, roadblock or VVIP.
We like the third one! Anyway, good job and congratulations, Hasrul!
