The operator of Rapid KL bus services will be running a trial service for the iconic Mini Bus.

The trial will run for three months, starting next month with three mini buses covering routes from Bukit Indah hub to Ampang Point, via Jalan Rasmi.
The public transport service’s Chief Executive Officer, Muhammad Yazurin Sallij said that this initiative is to test the suitability of using mini buses in neighborhoods, especially in ones with narrow roads.
It will not only make it easier for the drivers to enter the neighbourhood, but it could also provide better insight into the commuters’ journey experience via the feedback received.

The buses will run on an interval of 15 minutes during peak hours and 25 minutes during non-peak hours from as early as 5.30am to as late as 11.40pm.
If the trial run is a success, you can soon expect mini buses (carrying about 31 passengers) to extend their service to other potential routes.
If you are a commuter yourself and would like to give feedback, you can do so by contacting the Helpline at 03-78852585 or email them at suggest@rapidkl.com.my
Are you a commuter? What are your thoughts on this?
