Is This One-Minute Drive-Thru Wedding Our Future?

Pretty cool concept, though!

Just sayin’, the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) now allows people to have weddings with up to 250 people present…

…but some people are still paranoid and that’s okay. Not judging, at all. In fact, we commend people staying safe.

This couple got married and their guests were privileged to be with them for AN ENTIRE MINUTE.

Norazura Mohd Ali and her husband Agus Santoso Sidik, who owns a burger stall, became the talk of social media when they organized the first ever drive-thru wedding ceremony in Johor that adhered to all the SOPs.

Their photographer, who initiated the concept thought that it would be cool to execute the idea. He was glad that these two were brave enough to agree to the pretty crazy concept.

Norazura said that their guests were excited to witness the one-of-a-kind wedding and some even travelled all the way from Selangor and Perak, despite knowing that they can only spend a minute with the bride and groom.  Awww…

Their loyal burger fans also attended the wedding. So this was what happened from 12pm to 5pm on their wedding day:

  • Visitors got their temperatures checked.
  • Their vehicle numbers and phone numbers were jotted down.
  • They were given offerings and food packets.
  • They wished the couple.
  • Andt then they bid adieu!

Pretty cool, huh? We guess this is the future of weddings… we’ll see. Do you have any unique wedding ideas? Tell us!
