A few months ago, the authorities announced that the island would allow foreign tourists in by September.

However, not all things go as planned. Life happens.

The Indonesian island was already open for domestic tourism but with the increasing number of cases in Indonesia and with travel bans in other countries, local authorities have decided to follow suit.

Bali Governer, Wayan Koster said that the situation at the moment is not conducive to allow international tourists and that the plan to recover tourist needs a lot of planning, care and careful preparation.

With over 157,000 confirmed cases in total nationwide, there’s no word on when foreigners will be allowed to visit again.

We all know it’s a hard hit for the tourism industry, but our safety is the utmost priority for now.

So, it’s time to change your vacay plan, guys!
