The pandemic has made us more appreciative of the little moments we get to spend with our family and friends.

A Malaysian man who was stuck in Singapore for a year returned home to surprise his wife and children and we’re having such “awww” moments!

The tearful reunion was filmed and posted on TikTok by his sister-in-law.

We learnt that her brother-in-law worked in Singapore throughout the pandemic and had to stay there to save some money before he could go back to meeting his family.

After seeing their father only on video calls, we could see how shocked they were to see him in person, when he opened the gate and entered his home.

The video has been watched over 70K times and counting.

If you’re in a long distance relationship yourself, keep going strong. This too, shall pass.
