New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Footage Sees Daenerys Targaryen And Sansa Stark Meeting For The First Time!

Winter is here. And so is the first footage from the final season of Game of Thrones!

Season 8 of GoT is about to make its way to us in just a couple of months and we’re soaking up every bit of information that we can find.

For those of you who aren’t a fan of spoilers, look away now.

HBO recently released a short teaser of all their upcoming shows during the Golden Globe 76^th annual Awards show.  This short trailer featured a very important scene that may have just set the tone for the upcoming final season of GoT.

In the first footage of the GoT season 8, we see Sansa Stark and Daenerys Targaryen meet for the first time with Jon Snow looking on. The 2 second shot sees the two queens eyeing each other in the Stark’s home of Winterfell.

It’s going to be a very good year.

Winterfell? Yes, Winterfell. That means that Jon Snow has brought Daenerys to his home after fleeing the battle with the White Walkers! Sansa is now the leader of the Stark clan in the north and looks a little disgruntled at her brother when she tells the Mother of Dragons that “Winterfell is yours, your grace.”

This meeting marks the first time in Game of Thrones history that Sansa and Daenerys have ever met!

Fans are obviously excited about the reunion and what’s to come in the final season now that the two have met.
