A wedding day is usually filled with big moments like cutting the cake and toasts from your friends and family, but sometimes the most memorable moments can also be one of the most unexpected.

Exactly one year ago, otter lover Myottermelon captured a precious moment of a Zouk otter dad crashing a wedding photoshoot in Singapore, while carrying its pup.

The stranger, who is also a photographer, witnessed the scene and snapped a picture of the incident, capturing not only the otter but also the reactions of the people in the photo.

She then shared about the incident on the Myottermelon Facebook page.

Clearly, the disruption was unexpected as you can see the bride and groom, and their loved ones in the photo most had wide smiles on their faces while one of the men had his mouth wide open in awe.

In the caption, the photographer identified the otter as a “Clueless Zouk Dad”: “While rushing back home with his pup, gave his blessings to this lucky couple when they were in the middle of their wedding photoshoot.”

Noting that the incident happened exactly one year ago, she shared that it was a delight to encounter such a precious moment, and by sharing the photo on the Myottermelon Facebook page, she hopes to find the couple and send them the photo.

Zouk otters are currently thriving within the island-state and adapting well to the urban spaces of Singapore. They are also known to most Singaporeans as the Zouk family.

What a cute photo!
