As parents we’re so proud of our children’s little achievements and quirks. While we happily share them with our friends on social media, sometimes it’s also good to keep an eye on the safety aspect of it.

A mom recently issued a warning to other parents after she found her baby’s photos being circulated on a paedophile website.

Amanda Morgan randomly came across the photos being shared on ‘cute baby pages’ on Facebook and Instagram but good for her that she decided to dig deeper as she had a hunch that they were not so innocent after all.

The 29 year-old mom couldn’t hold back her tears after seeing three of her daughter, Callia’s pictures edited to make her have bright green eyes, wearing mascara and lipstick.

She then created an account on the website to get access to all other images shared. Apparently, the usernames go from A-Z and each letter has thousands of users with paedophile usernames.

The horrified mother then shared her story online as a warning to other parents, urging them to make their profiles private or better yet, not to share their babies’ pictures at all if they’re not dressed.

Amanda has reported the site to the police and has informed Instagram of what happened but the site is still live.

We hope it’s taken down soon.

So parents, just stay safe and make sure your children are too, okay?
