Poland Man Fails Driving Theory Test For 192nd Time!

We can’t decide whether to be impressed, or gobsmacked.

We really have to admire some people’s perseverance. This man from Poland is living proof of the saying “when the going gets tough, the tough gets going”.

This guy failed his driver’s theory test for the 192nd time, setting a new all-time record in Poland for the highest number of failures on the test!

The unidentified man has been trying for 17 years now but still failed the theoretical exam… the one you take before getting on the road.

He’s already spent about US$1,557 (over RM6,000) in exam fees taken, again and again. We’re not even going to get started on the hours he spent on sitting for the exam.

The previous record-holder had 40 failures before he passed. The Polish version of the theoretical exam is said to be pretty hard, but no one can explain how this man keeps failing. Now we’re curious, how hard can it be?

However, we’re glad that he didn’t give up and hope he finally gets the license.

One instructor raised concern regarding the number of retakes a potential driver could take. Instructor Stanislaw Kobusiewicz said that there should be a regulation in Poland that stops a candidate from sitting for the exam more than 20 or 30 times.

Much as we admire the dogged determination, we can’t help but agree with Stanislaw.
