If you know Aishah Sinclair, you would also know that she loves running, as much as she loves entertaining us every morning alongside Rod and Prem!

She recently clocked in a new personal record at the 2019 Tokyo Marathon, and we wanted to share and celebrate her happy moment!

The mother of two loves to run and has been running with her dad, who is also passionate about the sport.

Aishah, who has already participated in a number of marathons over the past decade,  wanted to challenge herself and go the extra mile. That’s when Asics approached her to join the Tokyo Marathon, as it is extremely hard to enter the major event.

This feisty lady braved through 37,000 other people and cold and rainy weather, to compete the marathon in 4 hours, 33 minutes and 11 seconds, beating her personal best at 4 hours 59 minutes!

That’s crazy!

the rainy weather didn’t stop aishah sinclair from beating her personal record in the 2019 tokyo marathon!

She had to undergo weeks of intense training with her trainer, Chevy Rough, besides also having to make time for her family and work. It was not an easy task to complete but she did it by putting her mind and soul into it, and of course, with the support from her family!

Aishah added that she would one day love to join bigger marathons, and we can’t wait to see her reach greater heights!

Way to go Aishah! Your love for running inspires us. Life’s too short to sit and wonder what we could have done. Go out and do it!
