Worldwide tourism consultancy, IPK International, conducted the ‘World Travel Monitor’ survey from tourists around the world.

It concluded that Japan and Thailand bagged the first two places respectively, followed by Malaysia.

The same report also found that Singaporeans pick Malaysia as their number one destination among the Asia Pacific region. Malaysia’s cultural diversity, hospitality and friendliness are the main factors behind their choice.

Meanwhile, the Indonesians ranked Malaysia as their second most popular destination, favouring the Kuala Lumpur city!
