Do you remember the days we used to go on family trips to the zoo? Well, every 90s kid will have that memory at least.

Now, Zoo Taiping and Night Safari has embarked on a virtual programme to encourage the public to the visit the zoo again, once the MCO is lifted.

Their latest initiative, called “Online Now Onsite Later” released its first video featuring the orangutan and he ‘said’ he misses us all. Awww!

The zoo's director, Dr Kevin Lazarus said that they are aiming at releasing two videos a week until people can visit them like normal again.

He added that the series of videos would feature endangered species from the zoo.

Once the zoo reopens, Dr Kevin said that all health guidelines would be followed by the authorities to ensure the safety of its visitors. We guess we should get used to jotting down our body temperature because we’re going to be doing that a lot, even when the MCO is over.

We hope we can go out freely and visit these zoo members again real soon!

For now, stay indoors and enjoy the videos, people!
