We’ve heard about people going above and beyond to keep someone they love happy but this story wins, just not in the best of ways.
Apparently, a bricklayer in Mexico had an affair with his married neighbour and he built an underground tunnel to continue their secret affair!

Alberto, the construction worker, built the tunnel from his home to Pamela’s, his secret lover. The both of them would meet while her husband was away at work.
Just like how every movie we watch has a climax or a plot twist, theirs was when Pamela’s husband caught them red handed!

Jorge, her husband, got home from work earlier than usual one day and spotted Alberto hiding behind a couch before he disappeared.
He then discovered the hole near the couch that unlatched a whole new level of “what-is-going-on-here”.
To Jorge’s surprise, he followed the passageway and it led to Alberto’s home. The bricklayer then pleaded with Jorge to leave because he didn’t want his wife (who was sleeping at that time) to know.
What do you think the cheated-on husband did? He of course let the cat out of the bag which led the men into a fist fight.
Cops arrived soon after and took Alberto away to prevent the situation from getting worse.
We can’t help but wonder, why didn’t they just be honest and leave their spouses? Well, we guess they loved the adrenaline rush (while it lasted).
