Raya was different for all of us this year, but for this beverage vendor, it was about to be devastating… until the universe sent help.
Khan Putra, a member of “Suami Masak Apa Hari Ini” Facebook page, posted a few days before Raya that his homemade iced drinks were destroyed after accidentally dropping them on the ground. The money from the sales was meant for his ‘baju’ Raya shopping.

Upon reading the post, netizens sympathized and offered him words of comfort during the difficult time, but one comment was extra special from the lot.
A Facebook user, Syah Hop, offered a free outfit for the celebration and our faith in humanity is restored!
A lot of other netizens also helped Khan by placing orders for his iced sweetcorn drink, a popular beverage at bazaars.
Khan later shared the kindness he received by giving out free meals to others the very next day, as a gesture of charity.
