Tom Hanks was among the first few celebrities to contract the deadly coronavirus. We’re glad that he and his wife, Rita Wilson have recovered and are doing fine now.

Recent news has it that the couple has since offered to donate their blood, to help possibly develop a vaccine for the virus.

He mentioned the news in a podcast recently and added that there were a lot of questions in regard to the process.

Also, the actor has a name ready for the vaccine if it works. It’ll be called Hank-ccine. #PunIntended.

Jokes aside, this is a really thoughtful decision, and we hope we get good news soon. Until then, let’s stay home and stay safe.
