As you may have already known, Klang Valley, Selangor, Putrajaya and Sabah are currently under the Conditional Movement Control (CMCO) until November 9, 2020.

While we are still awaiting an announcement as to whether it will be extended again, Senior Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that the CMCO will be implemented in Mukim 12 under the Barat Daya district of Penang from Friday (6 Nov 2020).

He added that the decision was made following advice from the Health Ministry during the special meeting.

With 35 positive cases in that sub-district so far, it is best that residents there stay in for a while.

The National Security Council (MKN) also recently imposed the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) at the Health Ministry Training Institute (ILKKM) in Johor Bahru on Tuesday, November 3rd.

If you’re confused with the dates, let us recap it for you below:

CMCO in Klang Valley, Selangor, Putrajaya & Sabah - 26 Oct - 9 Nov 2020

CMCO in Mukim 12 under the Barat Daya district of Penang - 6 Nov - 19 Nov 2020

CMCO in the Seremban district of Negeri Sembilan - 5 Nov - 18 Nov 2020

EMCO in Health Ministry Training Institute (ILKKM) in Johor Bahru - 3 Nov - 16 Nov 2020

* The SOPs remain the same in all the areas under the CMCO. Areas under the EMCO will have some slight amendments.

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob also urged people to continue following the SOPs and stop spreading unverified news. We hope this imposement will help to stop the spread of the deadly virus. Stay safe, everyone! We’ll come back stronger!
