Some of us think that we’re safe if the police officers don’t see us breaking rules but unfortunately that isn’t the case. The virus can still see you and that’s why you shouldn’t be out too much, especially when you’re told not to.
Nurul Afiqah Binte Mohammed will be charged in court for breaking the rules of her Stay-Home Notice (SHN) in Singapore.
The 22 year-old reportedly arrived in Singapore from Australia in March and was served with an SHN until April 4 2020.
However, she allegedly left her residence to buy bubble tea, to help her friend with wedding preparations and she also visited her mother. She later visited the hospital as she was feeling unwell and not surprisingly, she tested positive for COVID-19.

In another case, a 40 year-old man, will also be charged for breaching his SHN when he left his mother’s home and went to three other places.
Violators of the stay order can be fined up to $10,000, jailed for six months, or both.
Mohd Noor Salam Bin Mohd Yusof and Afiqah would probably have learnt their lessons but let this story serve as a reminder for everyone out there who doesn’t follow the SOPs set.
Please comply with the SOPs and quarantine yourself if you’re feeling unwell. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
