You Can Now Get To KLIA From Putra Heights With Just RM10

Getting to KLIA/KLIA 2 won’t burn a hole in your pocket with this new RM10 travel option!

A new airport shuttle service allows travellers to head to the airports from the Putra Heights LRT station for only RM10!

Combo tickets to get to KLIA/KLIA 2 can be bought at any LRT, MRT, BRT or monorail counter.

According to Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, the new airport shuttle service -that began last month, will help to increase connectivity and seamless travel for passengers.

“The combo ticket is sold for RM10 and comprises rail and bus tickets for a one-way journey,” he said. “So if you’re staying in Sungai Buloh, for example, you can take the MRT, then take the LRT to come here (Putra Heights LRT station) and hop on the bus, all for just RM10.”

“This is the government’s vision for an integrated service and we want to make it convenient and most importantly, affordable for the people,” the minister said.

For those of you who wish to try out this new shuttle service, please note that the journey from Putra Heights to KLIA/KLIA 2 will take about 40 minutes. A bus will depart from the LRT station to the airports every 30 minutes.

The minister also stated that five shuttle buses have been provided by Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd, that will operate daily with a total capacity of 37 passengers per bus.
