What a fascinating world we live in.

A kickstarter for a new perfume was recently launched and it promises to let you smell what space is like!

Developed by Steve Pearce, the product manager Matt Richmond said that it took Steve about four years to develop it.

It was created to help astronauts train before launching in orbit, and it was part of NASA’s plan of eliminating any potential surprises in the future.

Steve, who was approached to recreate the smell way back in 2008 said that it was indeed a challenge to do! We're not surprised, as Astronauts described to him that space smells like a mix of gunpowder, seared steak, raspberries and rum. Wow!

What started as an inspiration for experiential education has now got them looking into releasing another fragrance called the Smell of The Moon….but that’s a topic for another time.

Would you want to give this perfume a try?
