Mathematics is probably the hardest subject for many of us in school but this 19 year-old student from Penang just proved otherwise!
Cambridge Assessment International Education gave 19-year-old Penang-ian the “Top in the World “ award at the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards 2018 after he scored 100/100 for A-Level Mathematics paper!
The Yu Xuan said that passion and practice is important to achieve this feat and that he has always loved Mathematics since when he was in primary school!
For you to earn the “Top in the World” award you must score the highest marks in the world for the specific paper and Teh said that his family was very supportive in his pursue in maths.
He also said that Chemistry and Physics paper was hard for him but he managed to get A’s for both papers too!
Congratulations, Yu Xuan and we are proud of you! Now it’s time for some of us to get back to that statistics question that we have been trying to solve for a while now…
