...even Michelin star chef, Gordon Ramsay travelled across the country to try out some of our most authentic Malaysian dishes, while celebrity chef and Emmy winner, the late Anthony Bourdain was somewhat a cult hero among Sarawakians after he posted a photo of laksa Sarawak on Instagram with the caption: “Breakfast of Gods.”

And now, American actress and comedian, Awkwafina, has named Kuala Lumpur and Singapore as her favourite food cities in the world!
The 32-year-old was featured on Harper’s Bazaar food diary video series which sees celebrities describing what their typical breakfast, lunch, and dinner looks like.
After naming her daily must-haves, the Crazy Rich Asians actress also recalled some of her favourite food cities.
“I really enjoyed the food when I went to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. They had this dish called Hainanese chicken rice and roti canai. I like am obsessed with,” she said in the video.
She then said that KL was definitely a cool food city for her. We totally agree!
