Admit it, we’ve all got to love singers, artists and songwriters for their ability to put our thoughts and feelings beautifully into words and expressions.
Amidst all the uncertainties that have been bombarding us, we’ve been trying to stay positive and have been thanking the front-liners in the ways we can; by showing our support and even by just staying home. There is so much gratitude for the ones who are working hard out there to keep us safe and we’re so glad that singer Alicia Keys just put all the feelings into one very beautiful song.
The 15-time Grammy Award winner debuted her song, “Good Job” on Thursday with CNN.
If you haven’t listened to it already, watch it here:
The tune was originally written months ago for the unsung heroes in her own life but with the pandemic sweeping the world, Alicia thought that the lyrics applies to every hero in everyone’s lives, with or without capes.

She added that a lot of people don’t realize they’re doing a good job and looking back at the lyrics of her song, which was initially very personal to her, it felt like the song was written for this and she just didn’t know it then.
Here’s how Twitter reacted
Well, just like she said…
There’s no way to ever pay you back,
Bless your heart, know we love you front-liners for that.
Dedicate this to a front-liner you know and make their day a little better!
