The 43-year-old pop star shared a touching Instagram post, revealing that she had "tears of joy" as she reunited with her son, Jayden James, after two years apart. The emotional moment was captured on video, where Jayden greeted the camera with a "hello" while standing next to his mom, who lovingly introduced him to her followers as "my baby" before planting a kiss on his cheek.
The video then showed the mother-son duo in front of a Christmas tree, with Spears, dressed in a red off-the-shoulder dress, wishing her followers a "Merry Christmas." Jayden echoed the sentiment, saying, "Merry Christmas!" before the camera panned to a cozy fireplace.
In her heartfelt caption, Spears wrote: "Best Christmas of my life!!! I haven’t seen my boys in 2 years!!! Tears of joy and literally in shock every day, koo koo crazy so in love and blessed!!! I’m speechless, thank you Jesus!!!"
Spears shares Jayden and his older brother, Sean Preston, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, from whom she divorced in 2006. Since their split, the boys have primarily lived with their father, who moved the family to Hawaii in 2023. Spears agreed to the relocation, as confirmed by Federline's attorney.
Earlier this year, in an interview for her memoir The Woman in Me, Spears expressed that being a mother was a "dream come true," recalling how her sons would often join her on tour and during her Las Vegas residency.
