Chad Michael Murray and Lindsay Lohan's on screen relationship has come "full circle" with the upcoming release of their Freaky Friday sequel, Freakier Friday. But Murray isn’t ready for their reunion to end just yet.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Murray, 43, expressed interest in working with Lohan again, particularly on a holiday film. "If we had the opportunity, it’d be great," he said.
"What a trip," Murray shared. "For us to come back together after just finishing Freakier Friday and then both have Christmas movies out at the same time with Netflix, just a week or two apart — it’s pretty cool."
The duo filmed Freakier Friday over the summer, with both reprising their roles from the original. Jamie Lee Curtis also returns as Tess, Lohan's character Anna's mom. The sequel is slated for release on August 8, 2025.

Murray reflected on the long history he shares with Lohan, saying, "Even though we’ve been in and out of each other's lives, we’ve known each other for over 20 years. Watching each other grow, seeing her with her little boy, meeting her husband—it’s really special. There’s something very full circle about all of these moments."
Murray expressed enthusiasm for the possibility of working with Lohan again, especially on a holiday film. "If we had the opportunity, it'd be great," he said. "When we were doing Freaky Friday 2, we were kind of all over the place, so having the chance to sit down and do something together, just the two of us, with our families on set—it would be a really beautiful thing."
Murray and Lohan’s friendship and professional relationship continue to thrive, and fans can look forward to seeing them together again in the highly anticipated sequel.
