Chris Hemsworth may be a Hollywood heavyweight, but even he gets starstruck. At CinemaCon 2025, the Thor actor revealed he was “intimidated” to act opposite Halle Berry in their upcoming film Crime 101.
“I’ve admired Halle’s work for years,” Hemsworth said. “I was in awe just being in a scene with her.” Luckily, Berry quickly made him feel comfortable on set, and the two formed a strong bond.
Berry praised Hemsworth in return, calling him “a stand-up guy” and revealing he stood up for her during filming. “He didn’t have to, but he did,” she said. “Now I’ll be a fan for life.”
In Crime 101, Berry plays an insurance broker drawn into a jewel heist led by Hemsworth’s character. Mark Ruffalo also stars as an LAPD detective on their trail.
Hemsworth also recently shared another fangirl moment—asking Billie Eilish for a selfie at the Oscars, then instantly regretting it. “We will never be friends,” he joked.
Turns out, even superheroes get starstruck.
