After days of speculation surrounding Chris Hemsworth’s presence in Seoul, the Hollywood star has officially confirmed he is in South Korea filming Limitless 2.
Hemsworth, best known for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes moments from his time in the country. “A little behind the scenes from our recent Limitless 2 shoot! South Korea exceeded expectations,” he wrote alongside a series of photos.
The images include Hemsworth wearing South Korean military attire and training alongside South Korean men in matching gear. Another shot captures him squaring off with Kim Dong-hyun, a renowned former mixed martial artist, while wearing boxing gloves.
The footage appears to be part of Limitless With Chris Hemsworth, a Disney+ documentary series produced by National Geographic. The first season, released in 2022, followed Hemsworth as he tackled extreme physical and mental challenges to explore longevity and human resilience, from Arctic plunges to intense meditation.
“This season has been another incredible global journey unlocking wisdom around health, wellness, and longevity,” Hemsworth wrote. “Excited for people to see the latest installment of the series.”
Photos of the actor strolling through Seoul’s Sinchon district recently circulated online, fueling rumors of his visit. According to local media, this marks Hemsworth’s first known filming project in South Korea.
