As we move into another year of lockdown, we understand that by now, you would have been bombarded with updates on COVID-19 and why you should not head out. Well, we’re going to switch things up with some feel-good stories to brighten up your day a little.
The Mad-Math Teacher!
We’ve all seen inspiring stories of dedicated people but this teacher really takes it up a notch. A middle school student’s dad tweeted the story of how his daughter needed help with Math, and that the teacher came over to work through the problem, from a distance!
Seeing the white board at the front porch and the girl copying down the notes from inside her house really warms us. According to the dad, Josh Anderson, the teacher also happens to be their neighbour and the school’s wrestling coach!

Grandpa & Granddaughter dance-off!
This proud mom shared how her daughter loves her grandpa so much that they have a little dance-off every day while social distancing.
Both Kira, the little girl and her grandpa have had the dance battles on their respective sidewalks, which gives them a chance to still reconnect with each other while staying apart.
5 Year-Old’s ‘TailGate’ Party!
Madeline is a very bright and cheerful 5 year-old who had big plans for her birthday! However, the universe had bigger plans. Now that they’re quarantined, one of her friend’s mom decided to surprise Madeline by bringing together her
friends to sing a her a Happy Birthday song, while they were in their respective cars! Brilliant idea! Her family also planned a scavenger hunt for her gift and guess what? Little Madeline loved every minute of her surprise!
Birthday Celebration 101!
A man named Owen went viral after celebrating his 101st birthday with his staffers at a senior living facility.
His staff members held balloons as he watched from his balcony.
This is so cute! Remember, only we can make ourselves feel good. So whenever you feel like there’s too much to take in, pause, breathe and reflect on the good that’s happening all around. There’s more of it than you think!
